Dear Members,

It's the end of my three year term!  Who would think I would be asked to stay on for another year.  After a long discussion with my administration, I decided to accept the challenge to continue with the association.  We are excited about the new enthusiasm concerning the programs that are being put into place.  Less but bigger and better programs, vendor discounts for members only.  The Professional Turf Conference to be held at the Westchester County Center on January 10, 2007, will be a our greatest conference ever.  We are offering our Certified Landscape Technician Program at this event also.  Certification will put you and your business above the rest.  The rewards of being certified include national recognition, promoting your professionalism and creating opportunities.  We are working on an eight hour Apprentice Training Day this winter.  Our 'Spring Kick Off' meeting will include nationwide and local sponsors and vendors that will excite and motivate your sales teams / representatives.  Our Home Field House 'Annual Barbecue Meeting' is always a smash.  Back by popular demand, we are turning to the 'New York Botanical Gardens' for our annual "Field Day".  The possibilities go on and on.  You do not want to miss any of these events.  This year we plan to offer more credits than ever.  Tell your friends and bring them with you to our events.

I want to take this time to thank all of my committees and executive board, for three great years and their support for next stretch.  For all of your time, energy and personal support through the thick and thin of times.  Join in the fun and pleasure.  Become a NYSTLA committee member or executive administrator.  Experience the many perks and pleasures of being an Industry Leader.
