Condominium Conundrum (Part I)Condo complexes and similar landscapes present special challenges. Developing an IPM pest control program for the complex turf and these landscapes is key. Bentgrass and annual bluegrass, drought’s impact on chinch bugs and grubs and soil compaction’s impact on weeds and their control will be covered as well as effects of irrigation and heat stress on disease and related control options. Condominium Conundrum (Part II)Learn how to develop an IPM pest control program for managing condo complex trees, shrubs and ornamentals. Dealing with grassy weeds in beds, insect and disease problems due to tree mono-cultures, the irrigation and fertility connection to pest problems and reduced efficacy of pesticides will all be covered in relation to this special landscape environment.
